Autumn mist

J and L wanted to go to a firework display tonight and also wanted to go to one "somewhere that has a Nandos". The whole Nandos thing still amuses me no end - the two vegetarians going to a chicken based restaurant, but apparently the soya and tomato burgers are great....

I decide to take them through to Edinburgh so at least I could get a city walk done while they did their thing. There was a firework display down at Meadowbank so they could go to that after their tea. However it turned out that they had decided to go into Holyrood Park to watch the fireworks from there instead. Not impressed with them - going to a open park like that in a city centre in the dark. Anyway they phoned from Starbucks on the Royal Mile afterwards wanting picked up. I was parked in Charlotte Square and when I got back to the car it was quite misty on the other side. It was very atmospheric looking, especially with the autumn colours of the trees in the foreground.
