Awful day....

Sorry about the lack of comments and stars today...I will try and revisit everyone's journals again tomorrow...

I'm uploading late because it's been an awful day today...we woke up to a rather unnerving stain on our lounge ceiling....water coming through after what we thought was a completely successful repair on the flat roof above four years ago...

We had years of water coming through and have had the ceiling replaced twice now but it was supposedly sorted in 2011....this was the first year we've had the Christmas tree back in the bay...it had to be packed away at 8am this morning so that we could put down some plastic tubs....

It's so disappointing after we thought it was all fixed...

I know there's plenty of people suffering with flood water so my little bit of water ingress is small fry but it's got hubby talking about moving somewhere else again and all so unsettling...

So this image was taken with my iPhone from my son's flat window looking out on a dreich windy horrible day....the Christmas lights did look pretty though...even in the rain!

Oh and my eldest son failed his driving test today...so all in all not a great day!
