Guild of St. Stephen

Today Carys made her promises, entered into the Guild of St. Stephen and received her medal. That medal should, if presented, allow her to serve mass at any Catholic church in the world. She was a very proud pumpkin this morning.

Mass was followed by tea and cake in Fr. Jimmy's house and then Daddy drove home while I walked and the kids scooted. We stopped at Wyevale for refreshment, a little reading and some thank you writing (still quite a few to go), before heading home for a late lunch.

The kids couldn't agree on what film to watch, Paddington or The Borrowers, so I decided on Mary Poppins. They are currently sprawled on the floor in front of me giggling away.
