He (well, I think it's a he) was so close today that I kind of see the sun on my lens in his eye, at least that's the only explanation for the light in his eye. Which is also why you're seeing a yellow shadow behind and through him, that's the reflection of the yellow dining chair where the sun is falling on through the window.

I'm very satisfied with today's work, I've cleaned the deep-fryer all by myself, a very greasy and unwieldy bit of work. All necessary so that tomorrow I can prepare the traditional 'oliebollen' and 'appelbeignets' , Dutch New Year's Eve deep-fried delicacies. I guess that will be my Blip tomorrow :-)
