Chow Line

The clutch of California quail that winter under my porch come out daily for their breakfast. They eat side by side with the turkeys, who look like dinosaurs above them. I often wonder what they think of the giants they share the table with. There's much scurrying; so photos of both species together are just a blur. They remind me of Christmas shoppers.
