A Snowy Finch

Dear Diary,

It is still flurrying this morning and now the dig out will begin.  All in all, it was a "good" storm which means to me, no power outages or loss of internet.  We probably got 6-7 inches of the white stuff which isn't bad.  A lot less than the originally predicted 8-12 inches!

I did a bit of crafting but then decided that the old movie Dr. Zhivago was the way to go.  I do love that movie and this year was the 50th anniversary of its release.  Hard to believe but I was a sophomore in high school when it came out and it still captivates me.  Great films never lose their appeal I find.

I will try to get over to see Dotty today but it will depend if David gets here to help me dig out properly.  There is no snow predicted for a while but you have to clean things up so they don't freeze into immovable lumps that will be there until spring!
