Happy 4th of July!
Today was a picture perfect holiday. Miles and I started the day with a jog in the pretty morning sun and after a quick second breakfast we headed up to Vancouver to Mimi and Grandpa C's house. We played for awhile on the slide in the backyard before leaving to the Felida Children's Parade - where Hurley, Miles and Mama and Dada were in the parade! Miles didn't wave very much, but often took a break from his water bottle or blueberries he was eating to say "Hi'sssssssss"
After the parade and all of it's festivities, we went back to Mimi and Grandpa C's house (Great Gran was there too!). Miles ran through the sprinkler with Grandpa C and enjoyed some food from their garden - he picked & ate strawberries withe Grandpa C and ate peas with Mimi.
We got home in time for Miles to take a nice long nap so Mitch and I could get some chores done and when he woke up took an evening walk to our local park.
Here is Miles and myself before the parade started. We decorated his wagon in Red, White and Blue for the special occasion. Not pictured was Hurley in his adorable Red-starred polo.
