Treecreeper

Delightful walk along the Water of Leith today from Canonmills to Dean Village. Lots of birds around on the stretch from Canonmills to Arboretum Road including a close encounter with a grey heron and a fleeting sighting of a Nuthatch, (a first for me in this part of Edinburgh). Highlight had to be a pair of treecreepers that appeared and then posed very obligingly to allow this shot.
We stood and watched them for about 10 minutes as they searched the tree for food.
