In yesterday's Mono Monday Challenge, Room 101," one participant submitted scented candles for her(?) entry, but on interrogation admitted that the smell of real candles is perfectly acceptable. I was glad about that. I really don't like making enemies.
 
I didn't make this bear-and-hive candle, but it's an aspect of beekeeping that I want to return to. I have about 30 pounds of wax worth £20 a pound; there's a lot of money to be made from candles each Christmas.
 
As a footnote, this bear appears to have a complete set of genitalia - though it may be due to a casting flaw.
