Starting New Bonsai

I've had this new attempt at creating a Bonsai tree in the pot for about 6 months.  The gardenia is from a cutting I rooted from one of the gardenia bushes in our yard.  The originals of those bushes are from cuttings from my mother's neighbor's gardenias that I rooted in 1999.  The few Bonsai I've created (and one I bought in 1996) bring peace and pleasure.  You might like it better in large.  This one stays on our front porch.  It is intentional that a few roots of this plant are exposed at the base of the plant.
