Breaking out the Slow Cooker

Steve bought a fab new pressure cooker in the pre Christmas sales which also can be used as a slow cooker.  I decided to try a new recipe out - cod with lemon and saffron risotto.  I think it turned out ok - the largest challenge was eating it after a cheeky chippy for lunch - oops.

I managed to get Steve to watch Saving Mr Banks  with me this afternoon.  I have seen it before and after seeing a documentary on PL Travers I really wanted to watch it again with Steve.  He complained, of course but in the end he enjoyed it.

Tomorrow is another slow cooker meal but something a bit more warming is on the menu :)
