old friend

This is the 2nd time I've been to the summit of Mt. Ouray! When we got up past tree line and were in the edge of "Devils Armchair" where we could see the summit - a great feeling of anticipation washed over me and I though, "Hello, old friend". After my first climb of Mt. Ouray in 2008, I always said I'd love to climb it again - and here I am! Ouray makes the 3rd mountain I've reached the top of twice and climb number 18. Another interesting tidbit, is that my Grandfather was the ranch manager of the Zapata Ranch in the 1950s and 60s and had the privilege of meeting Chief Ouray.
