Sunshine at the Castle

Out for a very enjoyable bike ride in this morning's sunshine. A slight head wind made me work as I crossed the Vale of Pickering.

The roads were quite quiet for a change. A lot of flooding in the fields although the River Derwent had retreated back within its banks. The floods in York seem to be receding but with the next storm already on the way there will be nervous times ahead.
