Christmas dinner

A quiet Christmas this year. I had to work on Christmas Eve and so Rob and Gilly were in charge of the preparations, with David and Maureen helping out. They did brilliantly and by the time I was home they had made pigs, sauce, stuffing and mince pies. And a pie for supper.
The turkey went in the aga at midnight and by the time we were opening our stockings it was coming along nicely.
Because of this we decided to be grown up and have lunch at 1pm and presents after! This worked really well as we were not worrying about finishing the cooking while opening presents and so enjoyed both more.
My best thing was a 'save the bees, save the world' pendant.
Gilly liked her hand knitted cardi, and Rob and I gave each other jigsaws which will feature as blips in due course.
Happy Christmas to all!
