Square Tor

Just a lump of rock really between Haytor and Saddletor but it has a very square look as you approach, hence my name for it although it's not so apparent in the photographs.

I got out relatively early this morning and I'm glad I did. The weather conditions were beautiful with some lovely clouds in a blue sky. It felt a little chilly and as I got further from the van the wind blew up and tried to blow off the hat I had put on against the bright sun. I didn't stay out too long and judging by the amount of traffic coming up the hill from Bovey Tracey as I was on my way down, it was going to be crowded in the car parks up there. I think I got the best part of the day. There's another view as an extra.
