A TINY ROSE FOR TINY TUESDAY

This tiny rose was a small part of a bouquet we bought for mum for Christmas. Originally I shot it at f/40 to get maximum depth of field. Then I thought I'd try my hand at focus stacking. It's a technique I've read about but, until now, never actually tried it. I opened up to f/11 and took five shots focusing on different parts of the flower each time. I brushed up on the technique again (my memory's not so good these days), popped them all into Photoshop and, here you have it, a tiny rose!

Many thanks to osuzanna for hosting the challenge!
