Homeward bound

Frank (the storm) was said in a warning issued at 0500 today by the Met to be powered by '[a] low which is ... currently deepening explosively over the mid Atlantic.' I love that 'deepening explosively' in a kind of scary, awestruck way.

We get southerlies picking up tonight and peaking (gusts at 48mph) at noon tomorrow and then heavy rain overnight. But we are a long way from the eye of the storm.

My thoughts go out to all those more exposed and wetter than us here.

The Magic Seaweed swell chart shows where they think the storm and swell are going to go. Could be tasty of the SW Irish headlands.
