anticipation

christmas eve - to us, its a day for decorating biscuits, having a couple of drinks down the pub, watching christmas family movies in new pjs and generally being quite disorganised and last minute! hudu cooked us a christmas dinner (rather almost burnt a turkey while having 'just one more' drink in the pub and then hastily throwing together the rest of it so the children wouldn't have to wait until 10pm for their tea!). callie loved pulling her first cracker and boshing daddy on the nose with it.
we said our goodbyes to our elves, wrote letters to santa and for the first time in a long time, the children were straight to sleep once they hit the sack.

looking forward to seeing those sleepy excited faces in the morning
