Day release.

My dad, out on day release with his full time carer. Don't worry we didn't keep him out too long, the excitement may have proved too much.

Sorry, he's not really quite as special as he looks here. I was making him try on hats in M&S (simply for my own amusement) he does enjoy a good hat. He's not the most photogenic subject (a condition I have most unfortunately inherited) but it was far too funny not to blip the results.
I especially like the look on mum's face! There was a worse photo than this but I just couldn't do it to him, mum and I actually winced while looking at it. To be fair it's nigh on impossible to take a picture of my dad not pulling a funny face. Not usually on purpose either!

Lovely dad, I shouldn't make fun of him when he was nice enough to buy me my much needed new specs today. It was very good of him.
