Copley Bridge destroyed by flood water

Copley Bridge was destroyed by flood water . Built in 1851 the bridge finally gave way to the highest water levels recorded. It was too much for the old girl.
The grade two listed bridge served a small community on the hillside above Copley and was the route for worshippers at Copley church. Sad but I cant see it being replace . Well, not as it was !
