Natsumi Meets Some Sheep

The day started with very early walk in the Wither Hills Farm Park with our Japanese family members. Later we drove to Rachel and Richard's vineyard and farm. There little Natsumi, aged five, met some sheep. An inspection of the inside of the woolshed was of great interest. The visit finished with coffee and Christmas cake on the farmhouse verandah. Here Rachel supervises a sheep and lamb streaking past Natsumi in the paddock. Grandad Michi keeps an eye on proceedings. The farm visit was a great success. Afterwards the family headed off to Nelson for some more adventures. It is such fun seeing our country through others' eyes.
