I want to ride my bicycle

Sometimes Stafford can surprise you...tonight was the Stafford Grand Prix, the British Cycling Elite Circuit race around the town centre.
Not what you particularly expect on a Wednesday night.

Although I got some better quality shots than this I liked the action feel of the leaders belting around the corner...and then coming very close to the barriers where Laura and I were standing.

Unfortunately the weather put a bit of a dampener on the evening and we chickened out of the rain and into the pub before the race actually finished. But after a crappy day at work I needed a pint.
