OK - who did it?

Discovered a broken pane of glass in the china cabinet today - I questioned all the dogs but no-one owned up to it ;-) 
Hard dog toys and balls are not allowed indoors but, at the merest suggestion of walkies, Merlin does pick up a shoe by its lace and bring it to me, shaking it vigorously before handing it over so it was probably him.
 Fortunately all the shards were still in the frame and easily removed, so no danger of glass in feet or paws.
