Turnaround

This wee lady began this painting around eighteen months ago. Then almost a year ago she fell over, lay on the floor overnight with a dislocated shoulder and spent around nine months of this year going in and out of hospital with various infections. She lost interest in everything, her face all but turned to the wall. It hasn't been good.

However, in September we made the decision to pop her into a care home and she has rallied. I tentatively took her easel in and waited to see what would happen.

She stayed up till 11pm on Christmas Eve and finished her picture.
