Christmas Day Part 3

Today we enjoyed our Howard Christmas celebrations, starting the day with coffee and mince pies sitting in the conservatory in mum & dad's next door. Then a civilised opening of presents where everyone seemed pleased with what they received.

After lunch we went back home for a few hours, lit a fire, & watched a film (well everyone else did, while I surfed the internet)

Later I cooked our first proper dinner since Christmas Day and we used up the last of the Christmas crackers. Hooray, mum got the red fish! We all had to 'have a go' with the fish and here we see the curling of the fish determining that dad is 'in love' - & mum wanting to know who with!! It produced a few laughs, so I take back what I said a few days ago about that little red fish. Long may it spring from the Christmas cracker to entertain generations to come!

Now we've sat down for the last instalment of the gripping Agatha Christie thing whose name I can't recall. Another good day, with more to come tomorrow :-)
