Trekking Centre Trees

I was on road crossing duty for my wife today as she was again without any riding partners.  On this occasion the drivers of cars were courteous, in the main, but I understand why someone needs to be there to cross the rider and horse, particularly as you have to ride about 150 metres along the side of a busy A road to reach the bridle path on to Cannock Chase.

This small group of trees is at the entrance to Cannock Chase Trekking Centre and always provide an opportunity for a photograph.  On this occasion I also benefitted from the cloud formations above, that seemed to frame the trees so well.
