Waves at da Sletts

It's been a dull and grey day.  The winds have been blowing too, think it might get up to gale force 11 later tonight.

Back to work today and the Christmas spree.  We've not been jam packed but there has been plenty of folk about to keep us busy.  I've been full of the cold, and seems like there's plenty of things doing the rounds, so I've had to keep clear of Grany this evening.  Hopefully get down to see her tomorrow.  A fairly lazy evening at home, and then off to work in the pub tonight.

I was out in the car at lunchtime and headed over the the Ness of Sound for a look.  The waves were fairly rolling in and crashing on the banks.  Just after I snapped this photo, a massive wave crashed behind me and I got soaked.  It wasn't nice going beack to work wet but I soon dried off.  Taken from the Ness of Sound, looking on to the Sletts and the Lerwick town hall on the skyline.
