I don`t beleaf it

A few years ago, the city council cut down all the lovely native british trees in and around the city centre because when the leaves dropped in the autumn, it made a mess everywhere.

Now there`s been this big regeneration and guess what, they`ve replanted the trees...not any old trees though....these have been imported from Holland!!
They still shed the leaves, but now we have a team of city cleaners to sweep them up.

It was pure comedy watching these guys cos every time they got a nice little pile to sweep into the bin, a gust of wind blew them away again.
