Got to finish it now

Decided to change the manual shower control for a thermostatic unit that I bought about 4 years ago.
The multi tool cut the grout out and I chipped off the tiles without damaging the ones left behind.
I got the old mixer out and cut back the pipes, all ready to fit the new mixer. However the new outlet elbow to replace the corroded one, plus a new rail, hose and shower head were going to cost more than a brand new kit so it's off to Screwfix in the morning and the fancy built in unit is going on eBay.
