Reading Abbey.

It was lovely to see blue sky and sunshine return this morning. After an early visit to the cinema to see Lady in the Van (quite amusing and poignant too) , I spent some time time in the town. This picture is of part of the ruins of Reading Abbey, once a large Abbey of great importance, founded in 1121. Sadly, now all that remains are a few ruined walls.
