An English Beach

Today has been the day to come to the seaside with my new lens!  We arrived in North Devon this afternoon and took ourselves off down to the beach to have a look at the surf and to see what the new lens would do.  I was pleased to get some close ups of some shells and suchlike but really liked this shot of the sea, a random child, random dog, random surfer and late afternoon light.

It felt good to be out in the fresh air watching the ever rolling sea  coming in across the sands...

I will put one of my macro shots in extras so you can let me know how you think I've done!  Any trips gratefully received.  I don't think it's too bad for a handheld shot on a windy day!
