Beauty and The Beast

There is a certain irony to this sky

Only 100 metres to the left , the river has broken it's bank and the playing fields are now lakes . Houses have been wrecked and even the ducks have had enough .

The rain has, however , stopped and beautiful patterns appeared , courtesy of those carbon emitting giants in the sky; planes .

I know we can't all change the government commitment to the environment but I really am going to think carefully about my own petrol consumption and meat consumption .

Climate change is real and how the politicians can deny it any longer is a mystery ,

Anyway , as a run went this was part of a 9 miler which felt good and one way to burn off the Christmas chocolate .
