What did the Romans ever do for us?

Not the original plan for the day but ended up at Silchester getting some fresh air and exercise. This tranquil rural scene is taken from what was the centre of  a busy Roman town - more details here .  There is something very cool about walking around the town walls which have been here since Roman times.
