Lilac in bloom

On my daily meander round my garden I spotted a single lilac bud amongst a plethora of bare branches

The periwinkle is in full bloom too, but still no sign is snowdrops

It's been a sunny, warm day - that is until the sun disappeared

I so feel for the tens of thousands affected by the floods

It's unbelievable that the government cancelled many flood defence projects. Will heads roll?
