The Wharfe in spate

Still suffering from man flu, but managed a stroll from Bolton Abbey. Not surprisingly the Wharfe was in full flow and when its like this the water turns a very peaty colour. I liked the changes in the colour hinting at the depth of water. After I had downloaded the shot, on reflection (sorry, couldn't resist) I should have used a polaroid filter to take out the highlights on the water. Also the duck would not move out of shot so it remained.
