Pictures of Lily

Today the sun shone almost all day here in the Highlands it was so nice, I headed along to a pond that is in the middle of a business park. I have been keeping an eye on it for a wee while as I had spotted Lillies in there and I wanted to catch them once they were in bloom so today was the day. Claude Monet painted a series of paintings called The Water Lillies the pictures are a series of around 250 oil paintings and they were the main focus of Monet's creative work during the last 30 years of his life. The perfect topping for any pond I think.
