Battle of the bulge

A quick walk down to the beach today with MrT after the rain stopped eventually.

This stone construction always intrigues us.

It's part of the wall around a house down on the shore & when the high Spring tides happen the sea comes right up to the wall so I suppose it seems like you are on a boat if you standing on it.
Unfortunately it has been a holiday home for a long time & is empty most of the year.
