I didn't take my big fancy DSLR camera back to the UK with me as I didn't want to have to worry about that and the kids at the airport. It was a big decision for me as I'm quite attached to it! I dug out a very small old compact camera that hasn't been used for some time, and once I'd located the battery charger etc, I thought I'd try that. And do you know what? I didn't miss my big camera half as much as I thought I would and was quite pleased with some of the photos, so I think I'll use the little one in the future for day trips etc.
