Dunnock

A not very successful birding trip to Barns Ness today - it was too windy and wet and most of the birds had more sense than to show themselves. This little dunnock was one of the exceptions. Good views of a short-eared owl (who just would not be photographed) and of some Roe Deer. The deer posed nicely, but the drizzle prevented me from getting a decent shot ....
