Driving Home from Christmas

We were planning to come home on the Tuesday but through some general under the weatherness we made the decision to drive home today after lunch with my cousin and his family.  This turned out to be a good decision as we have never had such a smooth journey,  No congestion, no bad traffic - totally smooth.  We think that in the future we will leave late afternoon rather than early morning.

Lunch at my cousins was great fun - so so soooo much food and the best cheesecake I have tasted in such a long long time.  I think we are still full.

And tired.  Even though it was a good drive and we made it in good time we are both completely shattered!
