Christmas Presence

Undoubtably one of the best Christmases we have ever had .

4.30 am start . Rather sadly that was me as the girls slept until 6am . What a bunch of sloths we are .

Still all that time awake meant all the more time to enjoy the day.

They loved all their gifts and they had got me some great Mum gifts also.

The day was full with the first visitor at 7.30 ( foil emergency ) , parkrun with our friends and then a friend round for lunch and different friends in the evening .

What was remarkable was that there was no television , no phones and just a day of silly word games, charades and board games .

Christmas how it should be . Simple and with the people you want to be with .
