Pevensey castle wall

C's mother had forgotten to take her stocking on Christmas day so we spent the morning with her and this afternoon had a lovely walk through the fields and up to Pevensey Castle which at the moment has this Christmas tree at its entrance.  (It looks better at night but I'm now hunkered down and have no intention of going out again just for a better blip!!)
