damp juvenile

This wet young grouse was a little unsure about me, but very quickly dived for cover in the bracken! There are quite a few juveniles on the moors and they have the very adult habit of shooting out from near your feet................The moors were absolutely fantastic today because, although it was wet under foot, it was beautifully warm!!
