Another beautiful day...

We have been spoilt with amazing weather, sunshine and blue skies every day, it's almost like being in the Caribbean but with the added benefit of being able to ski! It is also very 'warm', temperatures of around 4-5C mean we are able to sit outside on the terraces of the various mountain restaurants for coffee or lunch. This morning when we stopped for our morning coffee at 10.30am at one such mountain restaurant, there was a group of people already quaffing champagne and smoking cigars. When we went back for lunch two hours later they were still sitting there drinking champagne in the sun....

Another good day on the slopes, not too busy and hardly any queues but we think it may get busier from tomorrow. No snow is expected until 1 January, so this weather is set to continue for our entire stay here. I am loving it but the boys were hoping for some fresh powder for off piste skiing.
