Young at heart!

A lovely day, cold and breezy but dry, so Mike and I both spent the morning working outside.  We moved the new boat, Peridot, into the drive and she looks quite at home, although it was a bit of a squeeze! (See extras.)

While Mike enjoyed himself doing boaty things, I cleared a lot of the dead and dying foliage from along the top of the shore, mostly montbretia, which was long past its best. Very satisfying work, and warming too.

Ollie kept bringing me his toy to throw for him and was being very puppy-ish!  He just loves all his pack, Mike and I and him, being together and was so happy!  He certainly doesn't look like an arthritic 10 year old in this shot!

Mike has pointed out that he realised it wouldn't take long for Peridot to be relegated to the "extras" spot!!
