First time fishing for this Aussie!

Another stunning day, and feel rather guilty posting this with the extreme rain many blipper's are having in England. There seems to be so many wild weather patterns around,

Anyway we did enjoy the day, out on the lake with some of the neighbours this afternoon and this Aussie visitor had never been fishing before. So when we got the first strike within a few minutes he was given the reel to bring in this rather nice rainbow trout. Great excitement all round. Followed by three more strikes that we didn't land!

Ian filleted it when we got home and we all enjoyed it raw on a bed of ice, sliced thinly with soya sauce and wasabi paste, it doesn't come fresher than that.
