Trickery

So as you may have guessed by now we do have rather an assortment of odd bits around here. Among which is a collection of bones of various sorts - in this case tiny delicate skulls from dead songbirds. When we find a dead bird we keep it and wait for it to become just bones. As one does.

The trickery bit is that I found yet another brilliant iPhone photo app. The skulls are on display in an actual display box with black velvet under them. The reflection/water is the effect from the very clever app. I can see I'm going to have to take some more photos with it in mind.
