The long and winding road ...

So ... Boxing day. Wired up the new TEAC CD player to the Denon amp and put on The Beatles box set ... made me realise how many great songs they did that never get aired because we rely on others to do our playlists and complication albums for us. Sometimes you need to go back to the source to really appreciate life's finest things ...

As for the rest:

A thoughtful day in many other respects, particularly thinking of Aged P ... fortunately had the company of friends tonight who could help us laugh our way through what could have been a rather maudlin evening. We had a bit of a glitch on the food front and a polished turd of a pudding, but none of it really mattered.

Here's to tomorrow - a day for putting the feet up ...
