A Boxing Day baby....

Well we have our white Christmas,only a day late ! A right mess this morning with heavy wet snow followed by a lot of rain again.
Once everything was fed,came back in to the house for a while and sneaked the collie in for a lie in front of the AGA.
Bedded the cows this afternoon and did the calving pen too as one thinking about calving. Just as well, because when we got back tonight from tea with friends,found that 518 had calved a bull calf.Not quite away  in a manger though !
