Mangrove Tour

Ahhhhh - not much going on. The boat is a red rubber retired wild water raft. The active word is "retired." Now we know where the whitewater raft heaven is. The boat is driven by two small propellers powered by electric batteries in a "retired" fishing box. There is a lot of "retired" stuff in this entry. At least it matches the tourists. The boat driver has time to look around to try to find some of the wildlife we were promised and didn't get. There were mangroves, some terns - there were a few because one good one deserves another, sea turtles (cool) and kayakers. Note that at least one tourist is checking her iPhone. Oh, well. It was lovely float. The guide, interestingly, is a graduate of Tilburg University in philosophy. He is going on to a graduate degree in Conflict Resolution. He should have been lecturing us on Hegelianism. It would have proved more interesting. And besides I have mangrove in my backyard.
